We have just completed a survey on a property in Belfast City Centre.
The property has 12 mixed office and retail units which were supposed to be served by one water meter paid for by the landlord.
The result of the survey was that the water meter serves 8 of the units, the other units are served by either unmetered supplies or their own meters which are billed separately by the water company.
Worse still the 8 units which are served and billed by the landlord’s meter ARE ALSO BEING BILLED AS UNMETERED SUPPLIES by the water company.
This will certainly take some time to resolve and we will publish the full case study in due courseTags: dispute, water bill
